Spring Break in Key Largo - March 8th - 12th 2021!
This spring break Sea Colony Aqua Sports will be traveling to Key Largo, Florida for some
fantastic reef and wreck diving. We’ve partnered with Sea Dwellers Dive Center, a local
Key Largo dive shop, to provide guests and friends a week full of scuba diving. During
the week we will be offering both certification dives and buddy dives. For those students
who have taken the Open Water class but not yet completed their open water dives, Key
Largo offers the perfect training environment to complete your certification. If you are
already certified you have the option to dive with a buddy or participate in an Advanced
Open Water class that will include a night dive and a deep dive on the wreck of the
Spiegel Grove! In addition, we will also be conducting Deep, Photography/Videography
and Wreck Diver Specialty courses.
Open Water certification dives will take place on Mon/Tue and then again on Wed/Thur.
Advanced Open Water certification dives will take place on Wed/Thur. We are planning
on making a night dive Wed evening. Additionally Wed/Thur/Fri will be set aside for other
specialty courses including Deep, Wreck and Photography, and a trip to the Spiegel
Grove - just let us know what your interests are. Certified divers and can dive with a
buddy on any of our scheduled dives.
We’ve partnered with Sea Dwellers Dive Center to obtain special hotel packages at the
Holiday Day Inn and at the Marina Del Mar.

North Carolina Diving
Year after year, our trips to North Carolina always prove to be a fantastic time. The ocean
off of Beaufort, NC is host to a mix of marine life, some of which you may only expect to
see in the Caribbean. We frequently encounter Atlantic Spade fish, Queen Angle fish,
Manta Rays and of course Sharks! Along with the marine life, there are dozens of ship
wrecks available to explore, many of which are historically significant.
Because the dive sites and wrecks can be as deep as 90 to 120 feet, we require that you
hold an Advanced Open Water certification to dive with us. Sea Colony offers Advanced
Open Water courses throughout the spring, summer and fall at Lake Phoenix. All it takes
is one weekend and five dives with us. Additionally, the North Carolina dive sites provide
the perfect setting for those of you interested in Deep Diving and Wreck Diving specialty
courses.
If you think you might be interested in diving with us in North Carolina or enrolling in any
of the specialty courses offered, give us a call and we’ll provide you with the details.
