Dear Valued Customers and Supporters:

After 45 incredible years of serving the diving community, it is with a heavy heart that we announce the retail storefront closure of Sea Colony Aqua Sports. It has been an honor to be part of your diving adventures, providing equipment, expertise, and fostering a community of passionate divers. John and his staff of instructors and dive masters will continue to teach scuba diving at the United States Naval Academy, at several Maryland Universities and Colleges, and at some local Severna Park pools. We will continue to be your local premier scuba training facility. Certification dives will still be held at Lake Phoenix, and we will continue to supply our students with new equipment for their training. This decision wasn't easy, but due to the current economic climate, mail order, escalating rent, and new tax guidelines for Maryland, we can no longer afford to keep our retail storefront going and we have made the difficult choice to close our retail doors. We will no longer be taking in repairs and those of you that have repairs at Sea Colony should stop by and pick up your gear. We want to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who has supported us throughout these decades. Your loyalty, trust, and enthusiasm for diving have been the cornerstone of our success. While this chapter comes to an end, the memories and connections forged here will forever remain in our hearts.
